Announcements

80 % attendance for laboratory work are compulsory.

60 % attendance for theoretical lectures are compulsory.

Laboratories will be held at H-304 (Phys131 Lab).

There will be laboratory beginning from the first week for;

Section 1-3-5-7-9-11 on odd numbered weeks (week 1,3,5… etc.)

Section 2-4-6-8-10-12 on even numbered weeks (week 2,4,6… etc.)

You can get your PHYS131 laboratory manual form PHOTOCOPY OFFICE in common area on the campus.

Quizzes will be held on Thursdays (online) via webonline between 22:00-22:20. You will have 15 minutes to complete your quiz session. There will be two questions in each quiz. Use your scientific calculator to reach the correct answer. Quiz will be graded out of 100 points(50 points for each question). You can see schedule of quizzes on the course website - Syllabus.

A test (training) quiz will be held on October 13, 2026 Tuesday, 22:00. (avaliable until October 15, Thursday, 22:00)

There will be two questions. You will have 15 minutes to complete your quiz session.

You have many attempts for the training quiz.Training quiz will not be graded , Please do participate!

However, You will have only one attempt for the quizzes which will be graded!  

A new announcement about Quizzes will not be made unless necessary.
